Eau Claire Regional Arts Center Receives Matching Gift

Wednesday, May 25th, 2011

In honor of the 85th Birthday of the State Theatre, the Eau Claire Regional Arts Center is pleased to announce a matching gift from the L.E. Phillips Family Foundation for up to $30,000.  This gift will match all money raised at the annual Jubilee Gala up to the amount pledged.

The gift will be used for capital improvements to the Arts Center including boiler replacement, roof repair and more.  "We are truly honored to receive this generous gift," says Ben Richgruber, Executive Director of the Arts Center.  "This has been an exciting year for the Arts Center, and this matching gift is another candle in our 85th Birthday Cake."

Jubilee 2011 will be held at Florian Gardens on Thursday, June 2.  This year's event will be hosted by Nick Meyer, founder and publisher of Volume One, and features entertainment by Grammy-nominated musician Peter Phippen, The Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild, the UWEC Players, and the Walk/Klenz Jazz Group.  Live and silent auctions will feature art, jewelry, travel packages and much more.

Tickets for Jubilee 2011 are still available and can be reserved by calling the Arts Center Box Office at 715-832-2787, or online at www.eauclairearts.com.
