Sculpture Tour Eau Claire Partners with the Eau Claire Regional Arts Council, Inc.

Thursday, July 18th, 2013

Sculpture Tour Eau Claire (STEC) is proud to announce that it has partnered with The Eau Claire Regional Arts Council, Inc. (ECRAC). The alliance will help continue and grow one of Eau Claire's newest attractions. As an alternative to hiring an executive director, STEC worked with ECRAC to draft an agreement that utilizes the skills and resources of the Arts Council to accomplish the same outcomes.  It's a win-win proposition that allows both organizations to prosper.

"Speaking on behalf of Sculpture Tour Eau Claire" says Susan Larson, board president of The Tour,"I am proud to announce our affiliation with a cornerstone of the Chippewa Valley arts community. Sculpture Tour looks forward to growing together with the Eau Claire Regional Arts Council to promote the arts and our sculpture tour in Eau Claire."

"The Sculpture Tour has enlightened the community and shown us how the art form can touch us all,"  says Kirk Ausman, Eau Claire Regional Arts Council, Inc. Board President. "Our mission to the community is to facilitate access to all forms of art to as many people as we can. The partnership with the Sculpture Tour ensures the continuation of a popular program by using the ECRAC professional staff to manage many of the day to day details of the program. The Sculpture Tour Board of Directors can concentrate their energies on the high quality content of future tours and the whole community reaps the benefits."

Sculpture Tour Eau Claire is a non-profit organization with the goal of enhancing the quality of life in Eau Claire, Wisconsin by using the arts to promote tourism, economic development, health and education.

The Eau Claire Regional Arts Council, Inc. (ECRAC) is the area's primary resource and advocate for local artists and arts organizations.  The Arts Council owns and operates the State Theatre and the Janet Carson Gallery, located in the Eau Claire Regional Arts Center.
