Jubilee 2011 Was A Success!
Tuesday, June 7th, 2011
The Eau Claire Regional Arts Center is pleased to announce that Jubilee 2011 was a record-breaking event. Over 200 people enjoyed the dinner and auctions at the beautiful Florian Gardens, and helped the Arts Center raise over $37,000. $30,000 of that will be matched by the L.E. Phillips Family Foundation, making the total $67,000!
The L.E. Phillips Family Foundation match will go directly to the capital account for facility improvements. "We were honored to receive this match," says Ben Richgruber, Executive Director, "and I think it inspired our supporters to dig that much deeper."
"We could not have achieved this without the generous support of our community," says Richgruber. "I would like to thank the committee, chaired by Joel Breed, as well as the entire Board of Directors for creating a fun and very successful event."
The featured artist this year was Allan Servoss. His piece, "Just the Sound of Air," sold for $1500, all of which will be used to support the arts education and outreach programs presented by the Arts Center.
Entertainment at Jubilee 2011 was provided by Grammy Award-nominated musician Peter Phippen, the cast of CVTG's "The Kind and I," the UWEC Players, and, of course, Chris and Travis Lee of Lee Auction and Real Estate.
