The professional staff at the Arts Center consists of five full-time employees:

Student interns are part of the extended family of people who make the Arts Center and State Theatre possible. We delight in taking students on-board giving them training and hands-on experience. We benefit hugely from the time, energy, and ideas they contribute to our organization. They help market our events, improve our facility, and provide customer service to patrons. PARKING

Abundant parking is available throughout downtown Eau Claire and is free after 6 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends. Please take advantage of the Civic Center parking ramp south of the State Theatre or other municipal lots, and refrain from parking in private lots that are posted.

THEATRE ETIQUETTE

As a courtesy to fellow patrons and performers, please turn off cell phones, audible paging devices and watch alarms. The use of cameras, flash photography or other recording devices in the Theatre is strictly prohibited. No food, alcohol or gum is allowed in the theatre. Only soft drinks and water sold in our lobby are allowed in the theatre.

DIRECTIONS

From the West - Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN

  • From I-94, coming into Eau Claire take the first exit (WI 312) and follow towards Eau Claire.
  • Take the Clairemont Avenue exit bearing to the right.
  • Turn left on Cameron Street and follow it to the downtown area.
  • Turn right on Farwell Street past the Eau Claire River.
  • The State Theatre is located on the block immediately after the bridge off to your right.

From the East - Green Bay

  • Follow US Hwy 29 West to Chippewa Falls.
  • Travel south on Hwy 312 until the Eau Claire city limits (Hwy 312 and Business 53 join).
  • Follow Business 53 to Main Street.
  • Turn right on Main Street.
  • Turn right on Farwell Street, go two blocks.
  • Turn left on Eau Claire Street.
  • The State Theatre is on the first block on the right.

From the North - Rice Lake

  • Follow southbound US Hwy 53 to Eau Claire.
  • Turn right on Main Street.
  • Turn right on Farwell Street, go two blocks.
  • Turn left on Eau Claire Street.
  • The State Theatre is on the first block on the right.

From the South - Madison or Milwaukee

  • From I-94, coming into Eau Claire take exit 70 and go north on Highway 53; when Business 53 breaks off to the right, follow Business 53 to Hastings Way which is also heading north.
  • Turn left on Brackett Avenue.
  • At the bottom of the hill, turn right on Farwell Street.
  • Turn left on Eau Claire Street.
  • The State Theatre is on the first block on the right.

From US Hwy 53 By-Pass

  • Exit onto River Prairie Drive and go west towards downtown.
  • Follow River Prairie Drive (it turns into Birch Street) until the first stop light at the bottom of a long hill.
  • Turn left on Farwell Street
  • Turn right on Eau Claire Street (the first stop light).
  • The State Theatre is one block down on your right.
